BRAD MOSS AND CORD HOOK UP WITH TWO OF THE UK'S BRIGHTEST
INDY FILMMAKERS FOR A SPOT OF ARGY BARGY ON THE SOUTHBANK
"I wasn't expecting that" winced Cord
trying to fill his deflated lungs with much needed oxygen.
Cord had just received his first initiation into the
world of the stunt man by getting clobbered by traffic
cone wielding leading hard man, Brendan
Carr (Ryan).

It was all in the name of art, in this case the new
feature film 'Ten Dead Men', from up and coming Director/Producers
Ross
Boyask and Phil
Hobden. If Cord and Brad had done their homework,
they would have realised that Ross and Phil have been
building a solid international reputation producing
micro-budgeted, award winning, cult action films with
plenty of martial arts, cage fighting, gun slinging
and good old fashioned east end biffo!

The scenes shot last Sunday are part of a flash back episode
where lead character Ryan (Brendan Carr) reflects on a
poignant moment in his past. It kicked off with a chase
involving Brad and Cord starting from the famous 'Leap
of Faith' parkour hotspot near Liverpool Street Station.
The
reason for the chase? Brad is carrying something in
his backpack that Ryan wants returned badly. Even the
guys on the set, apart from the director, knew what
was supposed to be in the bag. A head? body parts? a
stash of cash?. Who knows, we'll have to wait until
the film is released to find out.

Q.
Did you enjoy working on the
film?
BRAD
The crew we were out with were really awesome guys,
and a pleasure to work with. They guided us through
the process. We wanted to be in the film and they want
us in it so it was a really good situation. We had input
on the scenes and camera angles and we're hoping the
Parkour comes out really well.

Q.
Shooting that many action scenes
in one day must have been tiring?
BRAD
Repeating movements over and over did get tiring but
it's just another form of training so I didn't mind.
Getting the chance to make certain movements even better
for the film was worth it.

|
Q.
Has
the experience inspired you in any way to get involved
with the film industry, especially from a stunts perspective?
BRAD
I hadn't done anything in this kind of work before,
especially on the fighting scenes, and even though I've
got a boot mark on my chest, bruised hips and a lump
on my head.... I'd really love to do it again!
