Worldwide
JAM will actively support new talent in all aspects of the
media. Our goal is to find and work with photographers, filmmakers,
writers and designers who have what it takes but need that
elusive big break.
In 2007 Worldwide JAM will start developing our own Parkour
productions, especially for the Worldwide JAM.TV Broadband
channel. Therefore we'll be on the hunt for young directors,
lighting and sound engineers, presenters, writers, editors,
in essence a fully functional production crew.
We'll also be developing relationships with national and international
media agencies and hunting for commissioned work. Our
belief is that no one can shoot, film and produce Parkour
content better than those involved with Parkour itself.
WORLDWIDE JAM'S BUDDY SYSTEM
What's unique about our media crew program is that we'll also
be working with industry professionals who can assist in all
areas of media production and enable those working with us
to get invaluable hands on experience working in the industry.
If you think you have what it takes, get in touch by sending
us an email. It
doesn't matter where you are. Some of our production work
will take us around the world, so if you're where we are going
to be, we'll get you on the set.

JAM are very excited to announce that Tommy-Lee Robertson
(left) and Ben Milson are the first members of our media crew.
Both Tommy-Lee and Ben are familiar faces to the UK Parkour
scene. Many will have seen these guys hanging around London
capturing the action and developing their own unique style.
Ben Milsom - 19 / Filmmaker
Currently studying Digital Film Making at the SAE institute
in London. Have been making short films, music videos etc
for several years. Been mates with Kerbie for about four years,
back when jumping off a wall was just called being hyper,
he introduced us to the concept of parkour as it took off
in the UK.
My favourite filmmaker is probably Sergio Leone. He mastered
the build up of tension before a gunfight and also nailed
the "grittiness" of the Wild West. In more modern,
urban films my favourite filmmakers would be David Fincher
(Se7en, Fight Club, The Game) and Steven Spielberg, who although
seen as an "obvious choice" cannot be denied as
being an amazing director. I'm also a huge fan of The Beatles.
My ambition is to produce/direct a short film and be able
to present it at film festivals. I'm not looking for fame
and fortune, just a chance to be respected by other filmmakers.
Tommy Lee Robertson - 18 / Photographer
Recently finished studying A Levels, I've always taken an
interest in urban photography. My aim is being to show people
how areas that are seen as unsightly have a hidden beauty.
What draws me to parkour is the stark contrast between the
dirty, grey, imposing urban scenery and the sweeping, flowing
motion of traceurs. I tend not to conform to original styles
and instead try creative angled shots.
My favourite photographers are Diane Arbus, William Klein
and Frederick Sommer.
The ambition is to get my photos seen by a wide audience,
and turn my love for photography into a full time career.
