ABOUT
THE SHOW
The premiere edition of Britain's Got Talent has come
and gone in a whirl of laughter, tears and excitement.
At last the nation can see what we've been banging on
about - and there's no doubt at all that the phrase "Oh
my, did you see....?" will be popping up on tea breaks
and train journeys from here until a week on Monday.
The first Britain's Got Talent extravaganza took in auditions
in Cardiff and Manchester. It was crammed full of moments
which could only be described as must-see.
From a piano-playing pig to a bum-clenching monkey, the
great, good and truly God-awful were here. What about
the man who 'played' a pot lid with his keys? And what
about the knife-thrower who threw away his big chance
for fame?
From jaw-dropping to eye-popping, the standard of talents
on show was amazing. Welsh voices lived up to their top
reputation as a male-voice choir and unlikely opera singer
Paul Potts raised the roof. Who would have thought this
talent could have been hidden away in a mobile phone shop?
Then our friends in the north provided some sparkling
moments with mini comedian Jake Pratt making us laugh,
baton-twirler Craig Wormsley taking our breath, and huge
dance troupe MD Productions bringing the hall to their
feet.
Of course, there are more shows to come and this is only
the start of someone's journey to £100,000 and the
once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform in front of her Majesty
the Queen.
Hosts Ant & Dec are already having a ball.

Says
Dec, "When we first started this process there
was a question mark involved. It was like, Britain's
Got Talent? Has it?" |
"Even at this point we KNOW Britain's Got Talent.
And we've seen some of the weirdest ones of all."

BRAD,
ASH, BRAD MOSS AND BOBBY JUST MISS OUT ON REACHING
THE FINALS OF 'BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT'
A great effort from the guys tonight but unfortunately
they didn't get a big enough slice of the public
vote to make it through to Sundays final.
"Hey guys, we had an amazing time tonight,
the acts were absolutely amazing.
We're all glad Damon got through, but really sad
for Dominic - he's a great lad & so talented.
The four of us have had an amazing time working
for this show. Over 52,000 acts auditioned, we got
down to the last 16, that's pretty good going!!!!
Yeah, we had a few slip ups, and I wasn't on top
form, but we enjoyed ourselves.
I'm saddened that the production company didn't
use any of the interviews where we spoke about our
teaching projects & youth work.
But all in all, we had a great time, and it was
all worth it.
Thanks to everyone for your support".

Monday
11th June - 5:00pm
Tonight on ITV, Binary,
Bobby, Brad
and Ash will
appear on the new top rating show, 'Britain's Got Talent'.
After first being approached by ITV researchers, the
guys put together a routine based on FreeRunning, Gymnastics
and Tricking.
Without access to apparatus (apart from their Feiyues)
at the recent London auditions, they thought the chances
of progressing to the next round were going to be buckleys
or none.
Will they get the thumbs up or the thumbs down from
the panel of judges?
You can see what happens tonight on ITV at 9:00pm
From
Binary and Brad:
"A few months ago ITV researchers invited us to
enter Simon Cowell's new tv talent show 'Britain's
Got Talent'.
The four of us got talking and thought it would be a
fun experience, and a good way to get exposure for our
teaching programs.
We entered a video of ourselves training and were then
invited to show the producers a selection of our skills.
A week later we each received a letter asking us to
show our act in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda
Holden & Piers Morgan.
When we arrived at the theatre, there were no obstacles
for us to use, so we ended up showing the judges a selection
of acrobatic skills under the name Free Running.
Regardless of the actual moves we have performed,
throughout the show we have tried to push our most important
message: We're just a group of normal guys and it doesn't
matter what walk of life you are from, with a little
focus & discipline, you can do anything".
